I’m a TV news producer working at the New York bureau of TBS. I’ve produced more than 100 prime time stories over the last 9 years reaching an audience of millions, covering the US, Canada, South America and Asia.

I speak native-level English and Japanese, conversational Spanish and I’m a US permanent resident.

2020 Presidential Elections, aired March 2nd, 2020. I researched evangelicals who had previously voted for Trump but decided not to in the 2020 election and pitched to our correspondents and editorial team ahead of Super Tuesday. I arranged interviews with Vote Common Good, coordinated logistics and traveled through Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina with a correspondent and videographer. I conducted interviews on-site, directed b-roll, fact-checked, reviewed correspondent’s scripts and edited the video footage in preparation for finalization and broadcast in Japan.

Transgender in Schools, aired July 21st, 2021. I researched transgender participation in school sports and pitched to our correspondents and editorial team. I then arranged interviews with a young transgender student Becky in WV, a cis-gender high school sprinter Alanna Smith in CT as well as Joanna Harper, an expert and advisor to the IOC. I coordinated logistics and travelled to both WV and CT with a correspondent and videographer. I conducted interviews on-site, directed b-roll, fact-checked, reviewed correspondent’s scripts, transcribed soundbites and edited the video footage in preparation for finalization and broadcast in Japan.

  • Research, pitch, develop and report stories and breaking news.

  • Monitor and track daily breaking news in North and South America.

  • Find interview subjects and work as a field producer to coordinate logistics and communication between bureaus and news organizations.

  • Orientate correspondents arriving from Japan to bring them up to speed with news in the United States.

  • Collaborate with correspondents to edit and revise news scripts.

  • Film events, interviews, and b-roll footage using handheld video cameras.

  • Source and license third party footage.

Snowcrabs in Alaska, aired March 24th, 2023. I researched Snow Crab fisheries in Alaska and pitched to our correspondents and bureau chief. I then arranged interviews with Alaskan Snow Crabbers, NOAA Alaska Fisheries Science Center, the city of Saint Paul Island and the Aleut Community of Saint Paul Island. I coordinated logistics and traveled across Alaska with a correspondent and videographer. I conducted interviews on-site, directed b-roll, fact-checked, reviewed correspondent’s scripts, transcribed soundbites and edited the video footage in preparation for finalization and broadcast in Japan.
